The CDCP course which I took is a prerequisite for every IT personnel who needs to understand and wants to run any Data Centre efficiently and professionally.

I find the course useful and helpful as:

• The course provided me with the ideal foundation to run a mission critical data centre facility and the requirements needed to deploy new technologies in the Data Centre.
• The course also provided valuable insights to key components of the Data Centre such as the standards and best practices that can be applied when setting up and improving key aspects of the data centre - power, cooling, security, cabling and safety, to ensure high availability and avoid costly downtime. Most data centre professional who are tasked with setting up and operating a data centre has never been formally trained in running a data centre, therefore they have no idea on the exact requirements to deploy new technologies in the data centre.

I would definitely recommend my colleagues who are working in the Data Centres, at Wisma Genting and Genting Highlands to take this certification course as one needs to be aware of the various standards and best practices that apply in running and maintaining a Data Centre.
